MLK Honors Veterans with Special Program

MLK welcomed veterans, including two of our staff members, for a heartfelt Veterans Day program. Students learned about the five branches of the military, watched a special video they created to thank our veterans and heard inspiring stories from guest speakers. The Notre Dame NJROTC participated in the ceremony as well. After the program, sixth-grade Student Council members joined the veterans in the library for a Q&A session to learn more about their service and experiences. A huge thank-you to Ms. Rauscher, Mrs. Komacek, Mrs. Karam and their team for organizing such a meaningful event.
