On Wednesday, April 16th, Alexandria Martin, a 6th grade student from Columbus Elementary was selected and honored at the Annual East Utica Optimist Club Awards Banquet. Alexandria was chosen for her upbeat attitude, good citizenship, perseverance, enthusiasm, and her positive approach to challenges.

Ms. Stephanie Payne, Alexandria’s teacher, shared that Alexandria is a hardworking girl who holds her friends, family, and teachers close to her heart. She is wise beyond her years and always strives to put her best foot forward. Alexandria has a deep appreciation for education and consistently gives her best effort.
