Students from Proctor High School and OHM P-TECH participated in the third annual Women in STEM event hosted at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. The event welcomed students to explore STEM pathways through an inspiring keynote speaker and five interactive, hands-on stations. Each activity was designed to provide 20-minute exploratory sessions that highlighted real-world skills and career possibilities.
Students rotated through stations including health information management, coding a human robot, lean manufacturing with MACNY, professional skills cup stacking and a CGAM Lab tour paired with a STEM-focused scavenger hunt.
The event offered students an engaging opportunity to build confidence, spark curiosity and deepen their understanding of the wide range of STEM careers available to them.
