The Future Women in STEM event, presented by MACNY, inspired JFK and Donovan students to explore STEM careers through hands-on learning. Women from Wolfspeed and the New York Power Authority, alongside students from SUNY Poly, guided interactive activities focused on critical thinking and problem-solving, as students built electrical circuits and were introduced to basic electrical theory and real-world applications.
The Utica City School District extends its sincere appreciation to MACNY, the New York Power Authority, Wolfspeed, M&T Bank, SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s Office of Workforce Development and Hillside for their support and partnership in providing these valuable opportunities for our students.
